My Website

I have created a website before on wix so it wasn't really anything new to me. I enjoyed the experience in making my website on the Blue Valley Football Team. I think I did a decent job on creating it and giving it a good design.

Yes I have created a website before. I used weebly in 8th grade to create my website for a project. I remember it being really easy and to create. It was simple and easy to figure out what to do and how to make it. It gave you a tutorial on how to set it up.

I liked this project because I could compare apps that had the same features.

I have never used google drive to create a form. I also have no idea what creating a form means. My experience with the survey was pretty simple. I have never had experience making a survey or an online form.

How often do you utilize applications "apps" on your phone/tablet to make your life easier or more convenient?  Can you imagine life without "apps"?  How would your daily life be different if "apps" did not exist?

I do not use any apps other than social media. My life without them does not make it difficult although social media is addictive. I can imagine life without apps because texting and calling is a thing. My daily life would probably way more time efficient considering I'm on social media a lot, more than half the day.

This weekend I didn't really do much. I'm a sophomore so I didn't go to prom. I hung out with some of my friends and we drove around listening to music. Me and my friends discussed what we are going to do this summer and made plans.Me and my friends are going to the lake ad we're going to make YouTube videos.

3/31/17 NCAA Reflection

I learned how to use google sheets and the complicated was to setup a spreadsheet on it. This was my only bracket I had filled out for this years March Madness. The only games I had followed this year were the KU games. I learned that you can use google sheets for a lot of business work and even for personal stuff.

3/30/17 Movies/TV Shows

The TV show "Lost" is a really good show with a lot of mysteries and questions that aren't really answered the way you want them to be. The show is very intensive and a lot of suspense. It was one of the top shows for a long time. It’s still an outstanding journey, even if the destination is not up to the standards of the rest of the series.

Me and my friends stayed up all night till 7:30 and woke up around 12, so we only got a few hours of sleep.

2/23/17 Infographic

I learned infographics can be really helpful. I had heard about infographics before and I had seen them but I never knew that they were infographics. I really like infographics because you don't have to read as much and it is more appealing to look at. I would use infographics when I have lots of statistics and need something to present. I used piktochart. I thought it was very easy to navigate and I really liked it. I would use this site again because it was easy and helpful.

2/21/17 Canva vs. Lucid Press

Both Canva and Lucid Press are very interesting and useful. I enjoyed using them and figuring out all of the cool designs and colors that could be put on them. It is cool how you can find already formatted business cards and flyers to use in your personal life. I think they are both unique and fun. If I had to choose one to use for a real business, I would use lucid press because of all of the different templates there are. Overall the two online design programs share similarities and also have unique features that make them different and it is cool to see what you can create with both of them. I think Lucid press was easier to join and use. I Also think lucid press had the nicest and trendiest documents. I think Canva had more features that cost money.A couple pros of both Canva and Lucid Press is they can create business documents and they both include many different choices in design. a couple cons of Canva and Lucid Press are they have some templates that cost money and you have to sign in to use them.

Its easy but there is a lot of work that is given out.

An infographic is another way to represent information through a diagram or chart. These graphics can present complex information quickly and clearly, and can be integrated into many different forums, including signs, maps, journalism, technical writing, and educational materials. The purpose of an infographic is to enhance the visual and for us to see the trend and pattern easier. Infographics are highly useful for presenting results gathered from survey data. Statistics and numbers can overwhelm a lot of audiences, and therefore lose much of their significance. The best type of information that is displayed are usually the most popular apps, stores, etc. An infographic is really just a graphical rendering of information. There are many different types of information an infographic can convey, everything from a simple diagram to a full-fledged narrative story, but the visual representation is the common thread. It is also what makes them so effective. For a class assignment I can find two different things that are similar and do research on them to see which one is better.

2/16 My Dream Business

My dream business would be a car dealership. I would want to sell foreign cars like Lamborghini's, Porsche, Tesla, Maserati's, etc. I've always loved fast and luxurious cars since I was a little kid, so I think selling these cars would be an awesome dream job. Personally my dream car is a Nissan GTR which are around 100,000 dollars, which is a reas

onable price for a dream car.

This represents my weekend because I was sick for four days and didn't get anything productive done nor did I get to do anything fun. Now I have to catch up on school work.

I believe that the talk was nice and truthful. The world today is all technology based and I think we rely on it way too much. Even if we are sitting around with people we are still on our phones and not paying attention to the other people.

 This is a picture my sister took of me while I was holding my niece who was recently born at the time this was taken.

This is a picture I took at a Royals game, I was up in a suite. During this game I had gotten a video on Snapchat of the Royals getting a grand slam. 

In this picture me and my sister's boyfriend Garrett were at Tablerock Lake in Branson. This was before we ate at a very nice Mexican restaurant that we always eat at.

I kind of agree with the principle's words, although sometimes those people don't have enough motivation to go out there and do something. Other things could be holding them back like depression, family problems, etc. I can relate to the not having enough motivation too. Things hold us back from being ourselves. I agree because yes, no one will wait for you to make a move, you have to do it on your own time, but you have to do it someday because waiting and doing nothing all day isn't going to get you anywhere in life.

I have a somewhat better understanding of what social bookmarking is. I feel like social bookmarking will and could be useful to certain people that are pretty busy and that need to check up on the social life in a quick way. I think I might consider using delicious as a social bookmark because of how nice and simple it is.

I personally like Chrome better because its simple and easy to use, no matter what age you are. Also I think its quicker due to the fact that its right under your search bar. Chrome in general is a quicker software. Chrome will always be my go to for book marking.

Social Bookmarking 1/24/17

Most social bookmarking sites allow you to browse through the items based on most popular, recently added, or belonging to a certain category like shopping, technology, politics, blogging, news, sports, etc. You can even search through what people have bookmarked by typing in what you are looking for in the search tool. In fact, social bookmarking sites are being used as intelligent search engines. I personally use Twitter as my social bookmarking because it's an easy and simple way to stay up to date with others. Twitter is definitely the social bookmarking service that I would recommend because of its simple ways.

17/17 Prezi Reflection

I prefer to use Prezi over PowerPoint. PowerPoint takes more time and not basic enough for the average person. It was more easier and less time consuming creating my project on Prezi because it was very basic and easy to understand. PowerPoint would be better for using more information and to inform the reader in a better way. Prezi will definitely be the next program I'll use for my next presentation because of how quick I can get the project done.
